Tim is 50-year full time Alaska resident who lives and works in Soldotna, the “home of Alaska’s Kenai River’’. Dennis has fished with Tim numerous times and they are good friends. Tim makes his full-time living guiding sport fishermen, men, women and kids from all over the world and all walks of life. Tim has assistant guides that work for him. All his boats are USCG approved and his guides are Alaskan Licensed Guides.  They will supply all fishing rods and reels, tackle, hip waders and they will fillet your catch.

 

To date Tim has taught over 22,000 individuals how to fish. Tim has permit Number 001 and is a Freshwater Fishing Hall of Famer, he was inducted in June of 2019.

 

Tim has an engaging personality and is a wealth of information on the river system.  Tim knows how to catch fish!  He will share his knowledge with you on Alaska in general and our Kenai Peninsula’s people, places and nature.

 

Tim really enjoys people, and to see people have fun and catch fish. Your charter with Tim will be an educational experience as well as a fun fishing trip. Tim is one of the few Kenai River guides that Dennis highly recommends.

 

What to bring; Current fishing license, dress warm, have multiple layers, gloves, hat, sunglasses, and long underwear.  Pack a lunch and bring drinks.  These charters are usually seven hours long or until everyone catches their limit. Expect an early start of the day!

 

Tim takes out trips for: Sockeyes, Silvers, Silvers/Pink combos, Silvers/Trout combos, Skilak Lake sightseeing/Bear viewing Trips.  Your cost for any of these trips are $300 per person.
